Earlier this year, we partnered with XPRIZE and Range Media Partners to launch the Future Vision XPRIZE, a global competition calling for films that envision a hopeful, technology-enabled future. Last week in Los Angeles, independent filmmaker Jeff Synthesized was named the grand prize winner for The Gifted. Inspired by a deeply personal story, the film centers on an 11-year-old boy who recreates his late mother’s voice and essence out of love and code.
