A daily.dev kiadta a saját MCP-integrációját, amely lehetővé teszi a fejlesztők számára, hogy összekössék AI-ügynökeiket a platform közösségi hírcsatornájával. A megoldás segítségével a Claude, a Cursor, a Codex és más MCP-kompatibilis kliensek közvetlenül hozzáférhetnek a legfrissebb fejlesztői diskurzusokhoz, cikkekhez és kommentekhez.
Az ügynökök nemcsak olvasni és keresni tudnak a tartalomcsatornában, hanem képesek elmenteni a könyvjelzőket, vagy egyetlen mondatos utasítás alapján egyedi hírcsatornát építeni. A kiadott bővítménypiacon keresztül az asszisztensek új képességekkel vértezhetők fel, például ellenőrizhetik a függőségek frissítése előtt a lehetséges hibákat.
A funkciók a nyilvános REST API-n keresztül is elérhetők ingyenesen minden fiókkal, a fejlesztők pedig saját OAuth-alkalmazásokat is regisztrálhatnak a platform bejelentkezési rendszerével.
Az eredeti szöveg (Product Hunt)
Hey Product Hunt, Ante here! Today we're opening up daily.dev to your agents. Your agent can now drive, but don't worry, you're still the one in charge of the destination.
Your agent knows your code, your stack and how to write code. What it doesn't know is what happened this week: what millions of developers are reading, upvoting and arguing about on daily.dev, and the comment threads where the real production stories live.
So we gave it a way in. YOUR AGENTS CAN READ daily.dev NOW!!
- daily.dev MCP: connect Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any MCP client and sign in with your daily.dev account. No token to copy, nothing to install. Your agent can read your feed, search posts, pull the discussions, save bookmarks and tune your feed.
- daily.dev Marketplace: plugins that teach your agent new tricks. Upgrade Scout tells you what breaks before you bump a dependency, Feed Builder sets up a feed from one sentence, Bookmarks to Notes turns your reading list into notes. Built by developers in the community.
- Public API: everything above over plain REST, free for every account (more usage with daily.dev Plus subscription)
- Sign in with daily.dev: building an app for other developers? Register it as an OAuth app and people sign in with their daily.dev account.
- "What do developers actually think about Bun in production? Read the comments."
- "I'm bumping Next.js to 16.3. Anything I should know?"
- "Make me a feed for Rust backend and observability. No videos."
Add daily.dev to your agent (setup for every client in our docs), sign in with your daily.dev account and you are ready to go! Want more? Open our plugin marketplace, and pick from a variety of plugins: skills that teach your agent even more tricks, or apps built on top of daily.dev.
The Marketplace shelves are still fresh, so this is also a chance to be one of the first plugin authors up there. Tell me what you'd have your agent do with daily.dev, and if you build something, share it with us!
I'll be here throughout the day and happy to answer any questions 🍻
@capjavert Time to super power your agents!
Been using daily.dev to keep up with dev news across Java, AI/LLM tooling, and open source — the personalized feed cuts a lot of noise compared to jumping between five different sites. What sets it apart is the Giveback program: instead of spending on ads, they fund real causes (open source maintenance, accessibility, developer education, mental health) based on community actions. Rare to see a dev tool build that directly back into its model. Recommended if you want a curated feed that doesn't just chase engagement.
Occasionally surfaces posts slightly outside my core stack — a bit more fine-tuning on topic weighting would tighten the feed further.
Looked at Feedly and Hacker News before settling here. Feedly's feed felt generic and RSS-first rather than developer-specific, and Hacker News is great for discussion but not personalized — you have to sift through everything yourself. daily.dev's feed actually adapts to my stack (Java, LLM tooling, open source) without me curating it manually.
I use daily.dev on a daily basis and I'm extremely happy with it. The quality of the articles is top-notch, and the personalization feature ensures I only see what's relevant to me. It strikes the perfect balance in terms of content quantity. Highly recommended!
If I had to pick one thing to improve, it would be better filtering options to hide repetitive 'listicle' type articles or generic content.
daily.dev has become my absolute go-to for staying updated, seamlessly turning every 'new tab' into a productive learning hub. Unlike traditional RSS readers or manual searching, it removes the friction of finding quality content by aggregating the best articles and automatically tailoring them to my specific tech stack. The balance of content quantity is perfect, the visual interface makes it easy to scan for relevance, and the personalization gets better every day—savin
